About

Hey, I’m Abhijeet... the Book Blabber.

I’m a freelance content writer and marketer by profession, a book hoarder by compulsion, and a book reviewer by choice. I’ve been hooked on stories since I was five. It started through kids’ magazines and storybooks. That love never really left... not even in school.

Throughout my work day, I write content for brands and agencies – marketing copy, social media content, web pages... you name it. Somewhere, in between those, I make time for books.

This Book Blabber blog started in July 2022 – just as a place to keep everything about books in one place. Gradually, it has grown into something I didn’t know I could have (and it keeps growing even now). I’m proud of it.

What I read

My sweet spot includes thrillers, mysteries and science fiction. However, I also enjoy contemporary romance and the occasional heartwarming or thought-provoking read. On the non-fiction side, I'm drawn to books about business and productivity.

That said, I don't stay in a lane. If the premise sounds interesting, I'll pick it up regardless of genre. As long as the book keeps me intrigued, I’m invested in it.

If a book is charming, I’ll rave about it all over. If it doesn’t... well, I am not the one to bad-mouth anyone, but my views go into the reviews. I don’t shy away from mentioning “not recommended.” Though, I make sure that my own taste doesn’t make its way into that call.

The numbers

  • 350+ books read and rated on Goodreads since I started keeping count

You'll find my reviews on: Goodreads, StoryGraph, Fable and several other platforms (See all reviewer profiles)

I also write books

Talking the talk means nothing if you've never walked the publishing walk. I've published several books on Amazon KDP myself, which is also why I offer Kindle publishing support to other authors — I've been through the process firsthand.

My published titles:

Destination: Death – a novella | Family vacation turns Himalayan horror trap | View on Amazon

Step 1. Behave – non-fiction | Short, sarcastic guide for indie authors | View on Amazon

Be a Product That Sells – non-fiction | Short guide to becoming marketable product | View on Amazon

Be a Product That Grows – non-fiction | Upgrade pack to scaling your product self | View on Amazon

(Another title in the Be a Product series is currently in the works.)

You can also browse all my books on my author page.

Supporting indie authors

Book Blabber started as a personal book blog. Over time – and especially in 2025 – indie and self-published authors have become a bigger part of what I do here. Some of the most interesting reads I've come across have been indie titles, and I enjoy being part of that discovery process.

I offer free short reviews on Goodreads, StoryGraph, Fable and other platforms for all books that interest me. For authors looking for more visibility, I offer a paid featured review package that includes a detailed review article here on the blog and an author interview, along with short reviews across multiple platforms and social media posts on my profiles.

I'm also open to being part of a book's wider launch effort – social media shoutouts, promotional graphics, street team support and anything that helps a book find its readers.

Beyond these, I also help authors with Kindle publishing, manuscript editing & proofreading, and website/landing pages. Basically anything that helps a book look and feel ready for the world. These are skills I’ve picked up over a decade as a freelance writer and content marketer.
